Trina Solar: 09 shipments to grow by at least 75% of the

Trina Solar CFO Terry Wang, said recently that since the recovery in demand by the third quarter, driven this year, shipments grow by at least 75%. He also said that if the demand will continue to grow next year, the company is expected when the annual production capacity from current 400MW to 850-950MW. In the August 17 release second-quarter results, Trina Solar's solar cells is expected in the third quarter will be between module shipments between the 90-110MW higher than the second quarter of 64MW; gross margins would be 23.5-26.5%. In addition, the company also expects full-year shipments will grow by 74-99% to 350-400MW.

Trina Solar Chairman Gao Jifan also said that solar energy industry, market confidence has started to increase, mainly because of government support and financing situation of the turn for the better. He noted that in the case of rising market demand, the company will expand production capacity by the end of 2009.
