21 Nikkei Shimbun reported that Japan's Sanyo Electric is expected to fall in Europe in 2009, a photoelectric conversion rate of sale up to 20% of the solar panel, which SunPower will be following the U.S. after the first sale of two up to 20% conversion rate mass production of solar panel manufacturers; SunPower is now available for sale at a conversion rate of up to 21% of solar panels, Sanyo Electric current produced by solar panels, compared with the highest conversion rate of 19.7 percent.
Reported that, Sanyo Electric is also planning to spring 2010 in Japan and North America, the sale of the above-mentioned solar panels and plans to launch next spring, and then up to 21% conversion rate of solar panels.
Sanyo Electric announced in May this year, has successfully developed a new technology can be practical size (100 cm or more) of the HIT solar cell of the photoelectric conversion efficiency to 23.0% (currently 22.3%), reaching the highest in the world level.
